Why do we want to make our warriors visible?

To show the public they are supported in peace and in war.

There is a misconception that veteran numbers are dwindling.  The Invisible Warrior Project shows the public has been safe and protected their whole lives.

Soldiers have acquired skills  beneficial to their civilian jobs (e.g. leadership skills, and technical skills). 

The military is available to help on home soil during times of emergencies (e.g. natural events, civil unrest). 

  • Veterans can be easily recognized by civiians
  • Recognizes all service contributions
  • Establishes unbiased, consistent and fairness in medal distribution

Rememberance Day still matters

Ceremonies create a strong community where veterans feel supported and welcomed.  They build the foundation necessary for a strong military for the future.

  • Attracts new generation of soldiers
  • Continue the efforts to keep our country free and safe
